Walk in With Us
Veniero’s feels like Christmas. The pastry cases overflow with pink, red, and green cookies, along with traditional Italian pastries. Plus, its historic interior features stained-glass ceilings. Founded in 1894 by Italian immigrant Antonio Veniero, the place oozes with the sense that generations of New Yorkers have celebrated something here. Whatever it is, it works.
This is old New York when pastry was an occasion, and there wasn’t a bakery on every corner like there is now. This is our kind of time traveling.
