Supermoon (founded in 2017 by Ry Stephen and Aron Tzimas, who came to NYC via Melbourne, Australia) gives off futuristic laboratory vibes. Poured cement floors. Stainless steel counters. Red plastic strip curtains let you see the industrial-looking kitchen.
Pastries line up single file with near-factory-line precision and are labeled like museum artworks. There are croissants that look engineered. Cruffins packed with seasonal fillings. They also offer ice cream sandwiches that can induce immediate bliss and a subsequent nap. And this doesn’t include the savory options. This is not a place for moderation.
